During a walk in the center of Brussels, Omar Fassi Fehri guides you through the different types of oppression experienced by minorities.
The Minority Walk is a tour of the center of Brussels to discover the public space of the capital, told through the lens of how the oppression of various minority groups is still taking place, in different ways, representations, mechanisms and images. It’s around a two-hour stroll, with various stops (some famous and some curious…), with the aim to engage debate, raise consciousness, question our privileges and/or situations of discrimination, experiment, and share.
Omar Fassi Fehri is a French teacher, professional translator (English/French/Arabic and Spanish), theater workshop facilitator and cultural actor. He comes from Morocco and has been living in Brussels since 2018. He studied Political Science in the University of Granada in Spain and French Literature in the University of Fez in Morocco.
