(2009-...): Campustalks

Campustalks is an initiative by the rectorate of Vrije Universiteit Brussel, developed and organized by CROSSTALKS since 2009. The idea is to enhance community building among the many institutions and people associated with VUB. Campustalks is inspired by Pecha Kucha Night Brussels, launched by Alok Nandi (Architempo) in collaboration with CROSSTALKS in November 2007.

The aim of CAMPUSTALKS is to present an interdisciplinary mix of research and projects currently running at VUB, EhB and ULB, across all faculties and departments. This in order to shed some border-crossing light on what's living researchwise with the neighbours and to inspire and instigate new collaborations.

Each presenter is allowed 20 images, each shown for 20 seconds. No more, no less. A challenging and uptempo format for a dynamic way of storytelling. This keeps research presentations concise, the interest level up and room for CROSSTALKING afterwards...
